Masters or PhD Students

We are currently looking for Masters or Doctoral students in the Department of Biotechnology who are interested in working on one of my projects (see Research page). Candidates from all relevant backgrounds are welcome, but those with the following qualifications will receive special considerations:

• Currently a student at Masters or Doctoral Programs at the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University. Candidates from other programs in the Faculty of Science may also be considered on a case-by-case basis

• Having a Bachelor's or Masters degree in biological sciences or relevant fields, such as biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology bioengineering, etc.

• Experience with lab work in some of the following areas: recombinant DNA technology, PCR, protein expression, cultivation of microorganisms, shrimp cultivation (lab-scale or farm-scale)

• Good command of English. Can read scientific papers in English with good comprehension and able to write manuscripts or reports in English

• Good attitudes: open-minded, resilient, motivated, and receptive to feedbacks. Open to honest communications rather than keeping problems to themselves
